Hellfire Corner War Of The Words

Massive thank you to Slimey Skumbaggz and Omus One for inviting me down to experience my first War Of The Words in Folkestone. It was great meeting and seeing loads of talented people from my local area perform in front of a very lively crowd. It may have not been packed but the real supporters were all there.
Shout out to Inovativemc, Chie, Tenchoo, Ocdynamite, Hovis and to everyone else I haven’t mentioned I am looking forward to working on some projects with some of you and making our community of creators grow stronger.
Highly recommend to check out ZenSay on Youtube as well as on Instagram to keep up to date with new artists popping up and releasing straight fire to everyone. I hope to catch some of you guys at the next show you will not be dissapointed.

Homemade Studio In Black And White

Simplicity sometimes can work out better than over complicating everything we do. This is what I wanted to do with this photoshoot I done with with my girlfriend on our one year anniversary. All we used was a red cloth backdrop, two table lamps, Mamiya RB67 and HP5 Ilford (box speed). The photos above are the results I got. Skin tones are clear and the shadows compliment the body in certain areas like they were meant for each-other. Furthermore I am currently on journey to develop my true style so I experimented with some new poses to see how the body will look in black and white. The shot of the back is a perfect example because I wanted to get defined detail and show of the muscle in the back. Lastly the negatives came out really well I was able to get in the darkroom and create a nice contact print and some beautiful 12x16 prints on multigrade paper.

I travelled from Sittingbourne, Kent at roughly five in the afternoon to catch a train to London Victoria. The journey took me about an hour and a half, but it flew by and I was there in no time as  I had some good music playing in my earphone and I felt the excitement in my body to do my first editorial shoot for a clothing company. Once I arrived to London Victoria I had to alight and change platforms to jump on a train heading to Orpington. Five minutes pass and I was in Brixton first I walked out of the station and the first thing I could smell is loud weed and urine. This whole journey I was struggling with my luggage and had to power through the big crowds in Brixton and finally I arrived to Jack’s place meeting him and Harry once again, We was chatting away about everything coming up with some ideas for the journey and what the plan is once we arrive to Birmingham.

After half an hour passes Josh and Emma come to jack’s place, Emma was the second photographer that will be on set and Josh is her boyfriend two amazing people and excited to work on the project as much as myself. Energy was good and we deiced to start making our way to Birmingham.  First stop was a local Tesco to grab some meal deals, crumpets, tea, cigarettes and alcohol. Myself Emma and Josh all were sat in the back chatting away for a couple of hours until we arrived to Birmingham airport so Harry can pick up a rental car and then we was on our way to the Airbnb. We all was more comfortable now I sat in the front and was putting on the tunes.

We now finally made it to our destination. Had a little tour around the place by the owner had a couple of beers and was off to sleep.
